The Surface Design Show takes place in February at the Business Design centre in London, they focus on interior and exterior surfaces specific to the building, architectural and interior design industries. This immersive environment enables us to select product from new designers for future projects, we are also able to confirm our past trend prediction in real time relating to themes, materials, colours and pattern design.
Last month we made the journey to the US to work at the International Surfaces Event (TISE) in Las Vegas. This exhibition is the largest North American floor covering, stone, and tile industry event and is the premier, global marketplace for buyers, specifiers, and influencers to purchase products, gain design and trend information, and develop their business strategies.

At the show Scarlet Opus outlined 2 key trends for kitchenware in 2019 getting specific about important color palettes, smarter material use and the global food direction that is affecting consumer purchases and lifestyle choices.
